Ryan is an experienced lawyer practising in real estate, corporate/commercial & estates. Alongside Andreas Kalogiannides, he co-founded Aura LLP with the goal of building a law firm that creates a positive difference in the lives of its clients.
Ryan represents businesses of all sizes: from the purchasing and selling of some of the largest franchises in Canada, to start-ups in the retail technology and construction sectors. The same can be said about his real estate practice, where his clients range from first-time home buyers to clients with large-scale real estate investment portfolios in both Canada and abroad.
Ryan is one of a handful of Ontario lawyers who specialises in co-ownership real estate law, or where multiple parties are involved in the purchasing or selling of commercial or residential property. He provides advice to those co-buying or co-selling, and has broad experience drafting co-ownership agreements to facilitate the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties across Ontario.
Ryan is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Urban Land Institute, and the Canadian Bar Association.
Prior to practising law, Ryan was a full-time gigging and session musician and singer/songwriter. He has recorded and performed with several bands at some of Toronto’s most notable venues, including the El Mocombo, Horseshoe Tavern, the Reverb, Nathan Phillips Square Center Stage, and the Cameron House. Although he no longer actively performs on stage, he is an avid proponent of music and film education.
